![]() Many species can be seen here. The notes identifying the settings are lost, but the gas was BF3.
![]() This probably shows BF2 as the intense bottom beam, with molybdenum isotopes cluttering the picture. The very blue beam is probably argon. This is a top view. The magnet was a 90 degree bend to the left, and this is a view from the top. Confirmation of these species identifications is left as an excercise for the student!
